5E was an underground Copenhagen music venue in exsistence 2013-2020, specialising in free improvisation music forms - an unprecedented phenomenon. It was also called "Mandagsklubben" (the Monday Club) and was initiated by percussionist Kresten Osgood who also taught at the Rhythmic Conservatory. Quickly it became a popular place for both musicians, local and internatioal guests. Its closure was, however, ensued by the carrying forth of its activities by the nearby "Klub Primi" which improved musicians' condition by fundings other than playing "on the door". - CBN
