DIMC - PRACTICAL INFORMATION:

Fee for participation to be paid on arrival. Pay in Euros or DKK as you like and avoid unnescessary seeking around for cash machines. The fee includes also food and primitive collective lodging on the floor in the music school building. A hostel and hotels near by are available - ask coordinator in advance. Prices for a single room are from 65€ per night. Bring your own sleeping-bags and camping mattresses! If you go by car and have space enough, one or two additional mattresses of a larger and more comfortable kind will be greatly appreciated. There will be a grand piano available, but no instruments etc. beyond that.

Don't forget to take along personal materials such as graphic scores, recordings, written articles etc. along with all instruments etc. you need. Vegetarians and other people with special food needs - please tell us in advance!

Please be present during all of the conference if you can - for the best and most concentrated experience of us all. Only the proportional part of the fee having to do with food will be reduced for those who stay only some of the days.

HOW TO GET TO CONFERENCE LOCATION - Funen is the major island in the middle of Denmark. Svendborg is located in the South-Eastern part.

Svendborg may be reached in less than three hours by train from Copenhagen Airport station. From Malmö Airport (Wizz air and maybe others) there may be approx. one hour additional transport.

- By car: drive to "Svinget" and find the parking area at the rear entrance of the school. (Front address is Dronningemaen 57).

- By train or bus: you may try to work your way through the cosy streets of the old town, using this map...maybe 15 minutes' walk. Taxis are also available at the station (maybe 90 DKK - the driver expects Danish Kroner)
